It's been a busy and exciting time for the team here at Mind Orchard;
the studio is filled to the brim with LEGO as we are currently working on
the LEGO City Fire Academy, which is launching in 22 countries worldwide and
kicking off in the UK in September. For the second year running we have been
asked to create microsites and games for 5 of Weetabix's best brands, which
can be enjoyed on Nickelodeon UK. Ponyo has captured our hearts and
imaginations whilst making a fun fishy gallery, where you can turn yourself
into a fish and swim in the underwater world. We are also very proud to have
been chosen by the RSPCA to create a stunning animation celebrating 20 years
of campaigning success, voiced by non other than Brian Blessed! Our new
clients Warner Bros, Turner, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Bacardi have
been keeping us on our toes and we will be sharing all the new work with you
very soon, along with our brand new website for 2010, so watch this space
for the new look Mind Orchard!Recent Work
After all the fun and excitement of 2008, Mind Orchard have leapt into 2009 and hit the ground running, dancing and leaping through 5 different coloured rings!
We've been working on some great and varied work, from creating a site for the new Pink Panther 2 movie with its own Detective Academy to making Cadburys Creme Egg's battle in a street style dance off. Not to mention going all tribal with the Madagascar 2 Microsite where visitors can create their own African mask and submit them for the world to see!
We've also been involved in an exciting pitch to create the next Olympic mascot for the London 2012 Olympic Games and have now made the short list (WHOOP!) and have been working on a creative new educational website in conjunction with museum experts Culture 24 called Caboodle.
Stay tuned for more details on these exciting projects soon!Recent Work
Another busy few weeks, which has seen us working on loads of micro sites for Nickelodeon, including Mrs Goodbee (a talking house), Peppa Pig (a talking pig), Spongebob (a talking, well, er, Sponge) and Avatar (a talking 12 year old).
The Darren Shan site is up and freaking everyone out. Send a friend a scary message, if you think they can handle it...
We're also incredibly excited as we've been approved for the BBC supplier list, so really looking forward to working with them soon.
Finally, we've been working on showreels for our games, sites and 3d work to wow potential clients with. They will be making their way onto the site soon.Recent Work
Postman Pat has been re-launched for the 21st century so it is appropriate that we made an innovative site to mark the occasion integrating 3D, video and bespoke animation.
A version for the BBC is being finished as we speak, cant wait.
We did a whole bunch of stuff to help launch Nickelodeon's new retro channel Toonsters. This included re-formatting American games, animating screensavers and designing cool desktops.
Other sites for Bratz, Cella Fashion and Mattel My Baby were finished beautifully.
One other thing our troops have been working hard on is a nice scary viral piece for Darren Shan (if you have not heard of him, he sold 11 million copies of his books last year) - coming soon! You can upload a friend's photo and scare them with a DEMON.
Blimey, so much going on this month, I forgot to tell you about the incredible Dora banners and a Dora micro-site we created here for our lovely friends at Nick Jr.Recent Work
Well, it's time for our monthly update once again, so many amazing things to tell you all but such little space and time!..
We did promise back in June to keep you posted on the progress of the Lego City 2008 site and we are very pleased to inform you eagerly awaiting fans that we are near completion of phase two which will include an area allowing you to vote for your favourite kid to star in the upcoming Lego City TV ad.
Also, we have just launched the 'new and improved' ever popular Spiderwick site, which we have given a total makeover and added a brand new "Name that Monster" game to promote the launch of the DVD.. AHHHHH JUST BEAUTIFUL.
As mentioned in last month's update, the banners we created here in our studio for the Kids Choice Awards were looking incredible and we're delighted to announce that they're now live! These banners sure are a feast for the eyes and don't forget you (or your kids, nieces or nephews) can vote for your favourite celeb and even be in with a chance to win rare, exclusive tickets to the awards ceremony where guests will be treated to celebs being slimed, live performances and just a fun day out!
We have also completed a micro site for the DVD release of 'Drillbit Taylor' starring Owen Wilson. The site consists of all the facts you'd need to know about the film and its characters, on top of that we've created a game for you to play called "Are You Tough Enough" which puts you in with a chance to win a big screen TV and your very own copy of Drillbit Taylor DVD.
We've been working on a fun micro site and game called The Prince and Me, it's been launched to promote the release of the film onto DVD and allows the user to create their very own princess online and either save it as a desktop wallpaper or print it out and frame it!
Other then that we are working on some pretty cool 'blast from the past' top secret campaigns, which, although we'd love to tell you, we've gotta keep on the low down for now but as soon as humanly possible we shall update you!...soooooo exciting.
Well until next time have a great month and see you here soon :)

Hands are firmly in the air in celebration this month!
We've had a double reason for revelry with our iCarly banner campaign getting more hits than any other Nickelodeon campaign...EVER! Then just as the whoops were dying down, the Genie in the House banner campaign promptly overtook it and celebrations were had once more!
Building on last year's amazing success (and consequent Gold Award) of the Nick's Big Trip site, we started a fantastic update that includes a totally new user interface, new tracks for the brilliant racing game and a few new features such as the Art Car and the Big Trip Events blog.
Another annual update was for Lego City 2008, we created a whole new micro-site for this much-loved product range.
The fantastic Crafty Arty World site went live this month. The National award winning Crafty Arty Parties has quickly established itself as the UK's leading children's event/party company. Look out for Crafty Arty's very own children's characters The PongsTM and their fabulous new interactive micro-site, coming soon! We're very excited about it all!
The Kid's Choice Awards banners are looking incredible! In case you've been living under a rock for the last couple of years, the Kid's Choice Awards are the world's biggest awards ceremony after the Oscars, where kids get to slime celebrities and vote for their favourite Nick content. Voting can be done directly from our banners and voters are also in with a chance to win tickets to the event.
Also this month we've been collaborating with Incisive Media in redesigning their Inquirer and Gizmodo sites and also building a design guide for their 135 news sites.
Well that rounds off this month's update! Check back soon for more news!!Recent Work
And the gold award goes to....
Mind Orchard! We've been awarded the coveted Gold Award at the ISP awards in the Automotive Business to Business category for our Nick's Big Trip site.
The judges said "Nick's Big Trip extended the advertising creative below the line brilliantly and included a key target audience in the family car-buying decision... Children!"
We are of course extremely proud of this amazing achievement!!
We recently completed a funky, retro micro-site and game for Nickelodeon and Weetabix which was promoting the healthier aspects of the cereal.
Definitely worth mentioning is the amazing site we created for the Spiderwick Chronicles movie that was released back in March, although it was created a few months ago it's definitely worth having a look at in our portfolio, isn't the book just amazing?..
Well that's it for another month, we have plenty of exciting things happening over the next few months such as the new site for Lego City 2008 we're currently working on and will be sure to keep you posted!Recent Work
Well..........
Mind Orchard have certainly had an interesting time lately!
We've been busy working on an exciting website and 2 games in conjunction with
Nickelodeon for the fantasy adventure film; Nims Island.
We've also been working with Incisive Media, one of the world's fastest growing information providers,
to relaunch some of their key properties.
Their new white paper search network, their quirky and popular Gizmodo - which we have
all been fans of for a while, plus the infamous Inquirer, known for its acerbic view of IT news.
And to add even more variety to the month so far we're working with MTV and Clean & Clear on their
new Sweet Sixteen website to promote a string of parties across the land, expect red carpets and VIP passes galore!Recent Work
Well 2008 has taken off with a bang for us here at Mind Orchard, to say the least. We've been rushed off our feet but thought it only fair to give you an insight to what we've been creating here in our magical studio...
The creation of Zerebeleum the Magnificent has definitely been a highlight for us, his wondrous powers have given us an insight into what the year holds for us all. Give it a go and find out what 2008 has in store for you but be careful not to shake him too hard...
Remember Sonic the Hedgehog? Well, he's back, better then ever and we're creating a wicked micro-site to help promote his new game. Very exciting indeed!
There's also a new Nick Jnr show starting February 18th called Yo Gabba Gabba, it's been an absolute hit State side and we've created some fantastic games for it (check out the quote from our client) - which by the way are way better then the ones made over in the US. The Kids are gonna go crazy for Yo Gabba Gabba, wahoo!
And last but by no means least, there is a new Dr Seuss film coming out soon and we're creating the competition micro-site for this. It's most definitely one of our favourites. Recent Work
This month we have been mostly making Facebook applications, some nice corporate style branding stuff in a very cool site for Metro and hp in three languages:

We have also been involved in making some cool games for our favourite client Nickelodeon, this includes some mean work from our digital animation studio on Magic Roundabout and some playable games in some sweet advertising banner campaigns. We love our job.
